THE BORING STUFF.

Payments, Invoicing, Deposits and Cancellations.
1. All orders that are required with less than one weeks notice must be paid in full within 24 hours of receiving your invoice.
2. All orders must be paid in full within seven days of receiving your invoice. If full payment is not received in this time frame the order may be removed from the SHE TAKES THE CAKE calendar allowing other clients to book in.
3. A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total amount is applicable in the event of any cancellation.
4. Should you need to cancel your order, a minimum of 7 days notice is required. If this notice period is not met you may lose a portion of your “non- deposit balance” payment and in some cases, all of your payment. This condition is enforced at the discretion of SHE TAKES THE CAKE.
5. 7 days prior to your order completion date, is the final date for any changes. Eg. size, style or flavour. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

Delivery, Collection and Setup.
1. delivery and setup costs are dependent on location and travel time and will vary from order to order. Any delivery/ setup costs will be outlined in your initial quote (if requested)
2. SHE TAKES THE CAKE can not be held responsible for any damage to the cake after delivery and setup is complete. The client takes full responsibility to ensure the environment the cake is stored in is an appropriate one. Cakes can be quite heavy so a sturdy table will be required. The optimal room temperature for a cake on display is 22 degrees celsius, or below.
3. If you or a representative for you elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession.
4. All large event cakes will require a signature on delivery/collection to acknowledge you received the cake in good condition.

Allergies, Flowers and Decoration.
1. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
2. If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will place them for an additional fee.
3. By choosing to opt for real fresh flowers you acknowledge that they are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.

photography & film.
1. On occasion we will photograph/ film our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.

termination of agreement.
1. Fulfilment of this agreement is subject to change upon our ability to complete the order. Should SHE TAKES THE CAKE be unable to fulfil your order due to an accident, act of God or a cause beyond our control a full refund will be provided within 14 days of your order completion date.
2. SHE TAKES THE CAKE agrees to provide as much notice as possible if we are no longer able to fulfil your order and will endeavour to point you in the direction of someone that can. You acknowledge that in extreme circumstances you may receive very little to no notice that your order can no longer be fulfilled but will still receive a full refund within 14 days of your order completion date.
